
The Lebanon Citizen Budget Dashboard is a digital tool developed by Insights Analytica in 2020 to improve budget transparency, participation and accountability. It is updated and upgraded on a yearly basis since then.
It is one of several tools that aim to raise awareness and build engagement on budget matters, promote budget transparency and pave the way for informed citizen participation.
The Lebanon Citizen Budget Dashboard was developed with financial support of UNICEF, under the project “Enhancing Budget Transparency, Accountability and Inclusiveness in Lebanon”.

As part of the Lebanon Citizen Budget Dashboard project, IA conducted awareness raising workshops to youth on fiscal literacy that introduce them to main concepts such as:

To better understand the challenges faced by Lebanese state institutions, challenges related to key functions such as budgeting, procurement, accounting, human resource management, information and communication technology and quality of service delivery, Insights Analytica was commissioned by UNICEF to conduct a rapid impact assessment of the economic and financial crisis on Lebanon's state institutions.
The objective was to provide an evidence-based description of existing capacity to sustain public service provision to citizens.
IA designed the survey tools, collected and analyzed the data and managed data visualization. It also conducted consultations, experts group meetings and prepared a communication campaign to disseminate main findings.
The work helped identify inherent risks and informed the design of policy responses by the donor community.

IA was commissioned by the World Bank to conduct a review of Public Investment Management in Lebanon and to design scenarios for institutional arrangements conducive to improving the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of public investment and to enhancing the regulatory framework.
The work also included a review of international best practices.
This project is part of the Economic and Financial Recovery Plan endorsed by the Government of Lebanon and with the key set of reforms requested by the international community to support Lebanon.

IA was commissioned by UNICEF to support the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA) in undertaking an analysis of its budget and expenditures, more specifically on programs and services that aim at preventing, mitigating, and responding to violence, exploitation, abuse and neglect against children as well as gender-based violence
The project involved detailed analysis of spending, data probing and analysis, data visualization.
It also included consultations meeting with policy makers and key stakeholders.

IA was commissioned by the World Bank to develop and deliver a state-of-the-art Training of Trainers program on the new Public Procurement Law no. 244/2021.
